About: Kowalska designed for a variety of small labels in Italy before running Sonia Rykiel’s Paris design studio. With the launch of  her own label in 1998, the designer opened her flagship store on Mott Street. Fusing the designer’s interest in art, design and fashion, the label presents a variety of avant-garde, structure-focused dresses, jackets, sweaters and accessories. Kowalska’s clothing has best been described as “activewear for girls who read.”
